Well, I started with glacial undercut, which may be misconstrued as an undercut of the glacier itself. That is why I added cliff /slope undercut caused by the glacier. It is more than a line, I believe, but a whole swath at the bottom of a hill, for example.

I'm still a little confused by this. What I gather from the text is that this is some form of erosion caused by the glacier as it moves down the valley, whereas what you're suggesting, MacroJanus, is something that seems to be happening at the foot of the glacier. Am I right?

MacroJanus, I actually also thought about the glacial undercuts, but then decided against it as it primarily refers to glacier calving, where a glacier's face is undercut by water. So, IMO glacial undercut would mean an undercut made in a glacier not by a glacier. But, who knows, looks like Polish scientist also struggle with the term.
