Why Friday evening? I’m a freelancer, so I don't define my work hours that way, I work whenever I have work and 40 years on, I have no trouble switching off…

P.S. Everything changes! During the "golden years" of translation, I wouldn’t take on work at the weekend, but now that work has been scarce, my children left home a long time ago, I live alone and I like to keep myself busy, weekend work is more than welcome…

I didn't know translator brains came with an ON/OFF switch.
Mine must have left the factory without one. 😅

Many decades ago ... Jul 28

... when I worked in a 9-5 job I never had any problem 'switching OFF' on Fridays - a.k.a. POET'S day (piss off early, tomorrow's Saturday).
What I always found much more difficult was switching back ON on Monday mornings!

Mine seems to be wireless.
