Hello!
I had to replace my laptop. Since the reinstallation of Trados, the program no longer has a connection to the terminology database. I've tried everything but haven't found a solution. I am attaching two screenshots. Maybe someone has an idea what else I could do?

Hi Franz
Sep 26, 2020
After installing, I had a completely different issue and a user named Stepan suggested me to repair the installation.
"I suggest that you repair Studio. (...) on PC you should select 'Uninstall/Change' in Programs and Features to invoke the repairing wizard. "
Did you try this? It took 30 seconds for me to repair it. It's a bit scary because you need to hit "unistall" but then you have the option "repair"

Did you try to reorganize your TB in Multiterm?

Repair did not
Sep 26, 2020
Elena, repair did not work, because ther was no repair option. It immediately completely uninstalled the program. Thank god the settings weren't removed, so at least I didn't have to set everything up again. But there is no change even after the reinstallation.
By the way, Multiterm handles the Termbase quite normally.

Termbase Search vs. Termbase Recognition
Sep 26, 2020
I'm not quite sure what exactly the screenshots are supposed to document. However, you'd not be the first one to be helplessly staring at a blank Termbase Search window. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
Try using Termbase Recognition instead.

I see you're adding the TB to the project. Did you try to add it to Options instead?

Solved!
Sep 27, 2020
Hello dear all! I solved the problem. It was caused by the fact that building the termbase I took German (Austria) and only Greek instead of Greek (Greece). Changing this, it now works like a charm!
Thank you all for your help!
